An Assistant Director of the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council (PC) and a former Secretary of a Ministry under the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council, were ordered to be remanded until 8 May.
The order was issued by Embilipitiya Magistrate’s Court (MC), after the duo was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) over charges of financial fraud which incurred a loss of Rs. 77 million to the council.
