A European Union (EU) GSP+ Monitoring Mission is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka today (28).
Accordingly, the European Union (EU) GSP+ Monitoring Mission is scheduled to remain in the country from 28 April to 7 May, 2025, to take stock of progress on the fulfillment of conditions linked to the granting of the Generalized Scheme of Preferences Plus (GSP+) trade preferences.
During the visit, the Mission will meet officials, civil society, and business groups, and conduct site visits.
Sri Lanka, benefiting from GSP+ duty-free access, exports €2.7 billion worth of goods to the EU annually.
